Fredericks: Joining us now, Dr. Oswald live in Atlanta. Thank you for being with us, Dr. Oz. One of the leading candidates running for U.S. Senate in Pennsylvania vying for the Republican nomination against his number one opponent, a hedge fund and gangster bankster that basically sold everybody out in 2008.

If you lost your home and your car, your car, your valuables, and your job and you were homeless for two years like me and my family, wow! Now we’re going to vote for somebody in Wall Street that did that to you and then took the buyout money and took that and purchased all the little banks.

I don’t think so. Dr. Oz, thanks for being with us. You’re with our panel. We’re here in Atlanta. Tell us about your campaign, the status of it right now going in the May 17 Dr. Oz.

Oz: It’s exactly how I feel, but it’s also how Main Street Pennsylvania feels. So we got good news. We had an outside poll from Emerson Next Door, ran the poll, completely tied between me and McCormick, which is good because there are a lot of polls that have been circulating that had crazy numbers on them.

This is, I think, a pretty accurate assessment of the race. The two of us have pulled ahead of the rest of the pack, and now it’s needed against the gangster bankster, as you call it. And I think it’s bigger than that. They’re talking about the Wall Street-Washington revolving door, which opens up into The Swamp.

It leads to decisions being made that invariably hurt the average person just trying to do their job. I’ll give you one good example. This fellow McCormick was the CEO of a hedge fund that charged the state of Pennsylvania pension fund over half a billion dollars.

And the returns were so poor that in order to make up for every taxpayer in Pennsylvania has to pay into a half a billion dollars fund to make up for it. And you think there are some angry people here about that?

Fredericks: Dr. Oz, let me get this straight. You’re saying that McCormick invested half of a billion dollars of Pennsylvania pensioned into a fund and then lost money? Is that what I’ve heard?

Dr. Oz: He ran the company that the pension fund gave money to, again, a hedge fund on Wall Street. And the returns were so bad, the results so poor, that now we’re stuck with a half a billion-dollar bill.

Now, let me ask you a question. If you did a job so poorly that it cost your employer money that you have to then contribute extra into, would you get a half a billion-dollar paycheck for that?

That’s what we’re talking about here. And these are just emblematic of how when we have this Washington-Wall Street revolving door, Main Street, Pennsylvania, and America get hurt.

That’s why on the campaign trail, it’s pretty clear that folks are animated, they’re agitated, and they want basic things done for them to protect them from the raging inflation that’s taken away their savings.

Here in Pennsylvania, energy prices have skyrocketed the highest in 15 years. We actually have so much natural gas under our feet here that we know we can help the entire country by dropping energy prices.

But Washington won’t let it happen. And these are the kinds of observations people look at. They say, well, obviously someone’s got different values than us.

Fredericks: Dr. Oz, let’s get to the Southern border right now and the evasion that’s got a lot of people upset. Biden says no Title 42, that’s gone. Now we’re looking at even our own Department of Homeland Security says to brace for 500,000 people a month, 18,000 people a day, invading the Southern border.

No means of stopping them, no means of checking them. Also, Biden, by executive order, has taken the applications for asylum out of the hands of judges and now putting them in the hands of just bureaucrats with Homeland Security to rubber-stamp them.

How can we sustain six million illegal aliens coming into the United States annually up above and beyond the three million that we just had?

Dr. Oz: It’s a humanitarian crisis. Here’s the thing. Democrats care about Kerry. He thinks he’s doing the right thing. He actually is stimulating an illegal cartel that runs human trafficking operations, bringing those people across the border.

They aren’t coming from Mexico, they’re coming across Mexico to get across our shores. And John, this is the thing. They don’t just bring human beings.

They bring narcotics, drugs, and fentanyl, mostly from China. And so now every state is a border state because the immigrants are moving and often being flown like they are here in Pennsylvania in middle of the night flights and narcotics are joining them.

We had 100,000 deaths last year, and I talked to law enforcement wherever I travel to. They think a lot of it’s because of the ease with which drugs can get across our border right now. 100,000 deaths.

To put it in perspective, COVID took the lives of 25,000 people under the age of 50. So fentanyl and narcotic overdoses have already surpassed COVID in the deaths of young people.

Fredericks: Dr. Oz, you’ve been criticized by some saying that during your career that you were opposed to drilling in Pennsylvania, that you called for a moratorium on drilling. What is your response to that? What is your position on that now Dr. Oz?

Dr. Oz: I’ve been pretty clear throughout my campaign that I’m strongly in favor of allowing natural gas producers to get up on their feet. I have never talked about any kind of moratorium on my show or on radio.

I had a co-author of a newspaper column who without my knowledge put an article out there talking about fracking. This is, I don’t know, seven or eight years ago, but I am pretty clear where I stand on natural gas.

And I got to tell you, the father of the Renaissance of American energy, the man who actually invented the lateral drilling and is loud fracking to drive and bring us natural gas Harold Hamm he’s endorsed me.

Governor Rick Perry from Texas to the governor and also the Energy Secretary have endorsed me so I’m pretty comfortable with my energy chops.

Fredericks: Coal. What about the mining of coal in Pennsylvania? Really important to a lot of Pennsylvanians.

Dr. Oz: If you’re driving your Tesla around listening to this wonderful show you should know that the metal in your car probably came from coal. That’s where you make metal originally from.

You can recycle it as well. But in Pennsylvania, mostly coal goes for that. There is thermal coal as well. You have to be able to focus on making sure that our coal and natural gas are available for sustained affordable energy sources while we build up other forms of energy.

I’m an all of the above guy. I want new nuclear as well. You pick the kind of energy that you think works best for your community you should be able to make that kind of energy.

And while we can keep the environment clean doing this it’s only going to work if we got everybody working together. Otherwise, you hurt people badly by taking these ideological positions that only green energy will lead us to the future.

In fact, you’re green new deal, I’ll speak to this as a scientist. It’s a lie. It cannot be done the way it’s described in the timeline offered.
