The Pennsylvania Democratic Party on Tuesday issued a press release containing remarks by elected officials about the investment by Republican U.S. Senate nominee Dave McCormick in fund that owns shares in a Chinese fentanyl manufacturer, despite failing to acknowledge a similar investment by Senator Bob Casey (D-PA).

A party press release reports that State Representative Jim Prokopiak (D-Bucks County) and Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie held a press conference to condemn McCormick for his investment and his stance on abortion.

A man who was wrongly convicted of murder in San Francisco when Vice President Kamala Harris was serving as the city’s district attorney, and who later received more than $13 million in a settlement after he was acquitted following six years in prison endorsed former President Donald Trump in his bid for the White House in 2024.

Trulove endorsed Trump in a video posted to YouTube on July 28, explaining that he previously supported the Biden-Harris ticket during the 2020 election in a bid to preserve his entertainment career.

Pennsylvania U.S. House candidate Alfe Goodwin told The Pennsylvania Daily Star on Tuesday the past support of the Defund the Police movement by Vice President Kamala Harris, Governor Tim Walz, and her opponent Representative Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA-05) contributed to the police shortage in Philadelphia and its surrounding communities.

Goodwin told The Star her 14 years of experience with the Philadelphia Police Department gave her a “unique perspective” when Scanlon and other Democrats in 2020 expressed support for defunding the police, who she called “the first ones to see the results of policy” due to their presence in local communities.

Pennsylvania police department confirmed it is investigating after a swastika was spray painted on the floor of a barn owned by the private Westtown School but rented by the FarmerJawn regenerative organic farm.

An August 6 press release published on Monday by the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department confirms FarmerJawn owner Christa Barfield called officers after an employee discovered “a swastika had been spray painted on the floor of one of the barns that she leases from the Westtown School.”
